He was a truck driver, and loved boating and fishing. He also did beautiful woodworking. Mr. Whitaker is survived by his wife Thelma Whitaker, Winter Haven; daughter Cheryl Winghart (John), Winter Haven; son Larry Whitaker (Debby), Winter Haven; 3 grandchildren: Matthew Winghart, Michael Winghart, and Christopher Whitaker.
