Lavera Joyce Mitchell Henderson, 67, wife of Fred Gary Henderson, of 33 Lark Drive, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at her home.Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late George Jeff and Virgie Bishop Mitchell. She was a homemaker.In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Tina Durham and Cynthia Bagwell, both of Piedmont; sons, Gary Henderson, of Greenville, Robert Henderson and Tommy Snead, both of Piedmont; brother, Sherwood Mitchell, of Piedmont; sister, Patsy Bailey, of Piedmont; and eight grandchildren.Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010, in the chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer, with the Rev. Matt Dibler officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
