Kathleen "Kay" Marie Logan (née Fournier) April 09, 1932 - December 24, 2005 Funeral arrangements by James H Sutton Funeral Home Late of Windsor. Passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve with her loving family by her side after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 73. Predeceased by her parents George and Jeanette Fournier. Loving and cherished companion to Douglas Buchner. Cherished mother to Ken Logan, Kelly Ann Sennett (Patrick) and Kathy Villeneuve (Greg). Special bonus Mom to Liz Tucker (Whitman) and Dani Smolen (Ed). Beloved Grandma (Gram-Gram) to Robert, Kyle, Sean and new addition Afften. Will be sadly missed by the Buchner children Shannon (Mike), Heather (David), Kathleen and Mark. Loving sister to, Irene Reaume, Marguerite Burke, Bernice Wigle, Gerald Fournier and predeceased by Camille Fournier. Will be sadly remembered by Ken Logan Sr. and the Logan family. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Kay retired in 1997 as a cook working in the cafeteria at both Ford Essex Engine and Essex Aluminum plants. Special thanks for all the loving care given by nurses Carol, Laurie and Victoria. As well as caregivers Vicki and Serena (St. Elizabeths). We are very grateful for the care provided by Dr. Penava, Dr. Jones, Dr. Alam and Hospice of Windsor. At Kay’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday December 28, 2005 at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St., S., Amherstburg (736-2134). Memorial Service to celebrate Kay’s life on Thursday December 29, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 219 Sacred Heart Drive, LaSalle. If you wish donations can be made to the Arthritis Society. In memory of Kay a tree will be planted in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held Sunday September 24, 2006.
