Katherine S. MooreJuly 28, 1920 - July 23, 2012Katherine S. Moore of Pensacola quietly passed away Monday morning July 23, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.Kay was born in Lake Forest Illinois on July 23, 1912. She grew up in North Chicago. She was predeceased by her beloved husband CWO Robert S. Moore USN of 55 years.Katherine was an active member of the congregation at Corry Station Chapel. She belonged to the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association for many years. Kay was an active volunteer with local organizations and enjoyed doing all kinds of crafting activities along with camping and playing bingo.She is survived by her three children; Linda K. Heger (Decatur Il) John R. (Dee) Moore (Manchester NH) and Richard E. (Sharon) Moore (Fox Point WI) 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and long time friend Linda Burke(Pensacola FL).Arrangements are being handled by Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
