LAKELAND -- Mrs. Katherine Allen of Lakeland died of heart failure Thursday (July 3, 2003) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 52.She was a born in Fort Meade on May 18, 1951. She was a truck driver.Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Richard Allen Jr.; sisters, Ruthie Mae Carter, Valdosta, Ga., Carolyn Anderson, Barbara Davis, both of Mulberry, Garcia Davis, Lakeland. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
