Junie Christine Broome Davis, 83, died Friday, July 20, 2001, at the Mariner Health Care of Seneca. She was born in Oconee County, daughter of the last Charles C. and Dora Wilbanks Broome. She was also predeceased by her husband, Grady E. Davis; six brothers, D.C., W.M., Max, Joe, Jack, and L.T. Broome; one sister, Thadeus Adams; one daughter, Shelby Jean Davis; and was the last survivor of her immediate family. The beloved mother to Eddie and daughter-in-law, Joyce Davis of Townville, Sammy and daughter-in-law, Tracy Davis of Seneca and Mike Davis of Seneca; two daughters, Brenda and son-in-law, Mike Roach of Seneca, Hazel and son-in-law, Ben, of Greenville; beloved grandmother to Sheri Saylors of Seneca, Ernie Davis of Greenville, Scott and Angie Davis of Anderson, Eric and Ashley Davis of Seneca, Josh and Matthew Davis of Seneca, Brad and Chanda Ingram of Atlanta, Ga., Mark Ingram of Albany, Ga.; and beloved great-grandmother to Michael Smeader. She was a retired nursing assistant, member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church of Townville. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 23, 2001, at11 a.m. at the graveside at Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry James officiating. The family will receive friends today, July 22, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home of Seneca. The family will be at the home of Eddie Davis, 8201 Highway 24, Townville at other times. Brown-Oglesby Funeral home of Seneca is in charge of the arrangements.
