<!-- FH = BLOUNT, CURRY & ROEL FUNERAL -->GOODWIN, Julia Reid, 95, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on April 7, 2012. She was born to Eva and Julius Reid on April 4, 1917, in Vina, Alabama. She graduated from Jacksonville State Teachers College in Alabama and taught school in Franklin Co. In 1946, she married Russell Goodwin and they moved to Tampa, eventually settling in Temple Terrace, where they raised their family and enjoyed being active in the community. They were among several couples who were founding members of the Temple Terrace Methodist Church and active members of the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club. They later resided in Homosassa Springs, Florida, the site of many happy family gatherings, and where they loved being close to nature and able to enjoy so many of God's creations on the river. Our beloved Mother was a true Southern lady who was loving and kind and "worth far more than rubies" (Proverbs 31) Among her many blessings, her greatest joy was being with her family. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Joy; her brother, Robert; and her beloved husband of 54 years, Russell. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jean Beville and son-in-law, Terry of Temple Terrace; and grand-daughters, Suzanne Beville and Sharon Tomaszewski (Jim). She is also survived by her devoted son, Reid Goodwin and daughter-in-law, Ruth of Safety Harbor and grandchildren, Jill Goodwin and Matthew Goodwin (Cathy). She adored spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, Ava, Tyler and Julia. She is also survived by her loving sister, Ann Killen and brother-in-law, Milton, of Lewisville, Texas; her sister-in-law, Louise McKlveen of Edina, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember their Aunt Judy. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Sunset Memory Gardens with Pastor Marc Roath of First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace officiating. "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you" (Philippians 1:3)
