Mrs. Judy Poppell Davis - ELLABELL - Mrs. Judy Poppell Davis, age 66 died Wed., Feb. 12, 2014 after an extended illness. Mrs. Davis was a retired secretary from the Georgia State Department of Transportation and was a member of South Newington Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and caregiver to her husband and children. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Howard Davis. Survivors include her sons and daughters- in-law, Damon and Charlotte Davis of Guyton and Matthew and Danielle Davis of Savannah; daughter and son-in-law Tia and Larry Adkins of Bulloch County ; sister and brother-in-law Regina P. and Mike Sanders of Savannah; grandchildren Makayla, Andrew, Katie, Madison, and Natalie; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 3-6 P.M. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Steve McCoy officiating.
