She was born on March 3, 1947 in Bainbridge, GA. She was the daughter of Bascom Barnes and Jessie Mae Bryars (now deceased).Joyce had a love for life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her husband, James R. Morris; her daughters, Tammy Nelson and Deborah Clay; her son, James R. Morris, Jr.; her grandchildren, Adam Jones, Angela Paravalos, Ashley White, Thomas Pocta III, and Dustin Morris; her great-grandchildren, Alexandra Paravalos, Emmanuel Paravalos, and Jasmine Blake.Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until funeral service begins at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the National Cremation & Burial Society.
