McNAMARA John F., III, "Jack," 73, of Montvale, NJ on Friday, October 22, 2010. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Tudisco). Devoted father of Laura Parisi and her husband John and John McNamara and his wife Katie. Dear brother of Ronald McNamara and his wife Roseann. Cherished grandfather of Joseph and John Parisi and Sara McNamara. Loving uncle of many caring nieces and nephews and grand nieces. Also survived by his two sisters in law, Ginny Dittrich and her husband John and Dorothy Cichocki. Before retiring Jack had been a Professional Engineer, NY and NJ. He was employed by NYC Transit Authority & STV Inc. He was a Master Sergeant (ret.) NYARNG, 42nd Infantry (Rainbow) Division Association, the Veterans of the Seventh Regiment, Post #107 American Legion. He received his BCE from CCNY 1960. He was a docent at the Pascack Historical Society, Inc. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy R. C. Church where he had been an usher at the 12:30 PM Mass. Funeral Mass 10 AM on Monday at Our Lady of Mercy R. C. Church, Park Ridge, NJ. Interment in Cemetery of the Ascension, Airmont, NY. Visitation 7-9 PM tonight (Saturday) and 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Sunday at the Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Inc., 155 Kinderkamack Road, Park Ridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Jack may be made to the Pascack Historical Society, Inc., 19 Ridge Avenue, Park Ridge, NJ 07656.
