JOHN E. DALEY LYNWOOD, IL John E. Daley, age, 92, of Lynwood, IL, passed away December 11, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Helen (nee Perpich); two grandsons: Mark Daley and Nick (Erin) Daley. John was preceded in death by his two sons: Jack and Kevin Daley. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December, 15, 2012 beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL, proceeding to St. John Catholic Church, 301 South Cottage Grove Ave., Glenwood, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. John was a quarterback for the 1937 prep bull with Leo High School. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, earning two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. John retired from Wisconsin Steel and was an a avid White Sox and Bears fan. www.schroederlauer.com
