LEE, JOHN CALVIN age 86, of Adamsville, AL, died July 14, 2013. He graduated from Ensley High School, then served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-46 and retired from the US Postal Service in 1987. His joys were teaching Sunday school at Midway Methodist Church for over 20 years and being involved in the lives of his family, especially teaching them about God's love. He helped all 3 of his sons become Eagle Scouts. His kindness, smile, sense of humor and the love for his family will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his son, John Michael Lee. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Mayme Glasgow Lee, children, David Lee (Cathy), Randy Lee (Jackie), Nancy Lee Musser (Charlie) and Teresa Lee, sister, Francis Sims (Frank), 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home, July 16, at 2 p.m. Visitation 12-2 p.m. Burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Frank Sims and Rev. George Cooley officiating.
