John Bruce Walker SPARTANBURG, SC-- John Bruce Walker, 88, husband of the late Marion White Walker, was received by Our Lord on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Born in Bedford, England on February 1, 1922, he was the son of the late John and Beatrice Hilson Walker. Mr. Walker served in the Royal Air Force during World War II and was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Advent. Mr. Walker is survived by four sons, Paul David Walker and wife Bonnie of Long Beach, CA, Michael John Walker and wife Pam of Greenville, SC, Craig Andrew Walker and wife Robin of Spartanburg and David Bruce Walker and wife Sandi of Corning, NY; five grandchildren, Yanni Dylan Walker, Brooke Kathryn Walker, Kelli Michelle Walker, Joseph Randall Walker, and Konnor David Walker; a step-grandson, Andrew Bradley Thompson; and a great-granddaughter, Neveah Te Ona Walker. He was predeceased by a grandson, Sean David Walker. A private family memorial will be held. The family will be at the home of a son, Craig Andrew Walker.
