<!-- FH = Brown Funeral Home -->Final Services for Joe Bruce Walker, a Greenville native, employed with the Prince Georges County Police Department in Maryland, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the Union Baptist Church, 50 Union Church Road, Greenville. The body will be placed in the church at 12 o'clock noon.He was a 1978 graduate of Carolina High School and obtained the rank of sergeant with the U. S. Army. He is the son of Willie Joe Walker and the late William A.G. Walker; husband of Maxine Green-Walker, of the home in Bryans Road, Md; father of Columbus Wesley Walker, Joe B. Walker, II, and Ashley Walker; stepfather of Javon and Darnell Green and Evan Heyward.
