Joan Elizabeth Smith, 50, of 216 Crescent Creek Court, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at her home.Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of Russell and Onnie McGee Briggs.Survivors including her parents; husband, Marion Smith of the home; sons, Jamel and Zachary Smith of the home, and David Smith, Greenville, S.C.; sister, Bonnie Ann Booker, Lyman, S.C.; four grandchildren.Funeral Service: Saturday, 1 p.m., Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home.
