Obituary of Joan-C. Anderson


Joan C. Anderson Clinton Joan C. Anderson, 77, of Old Boorne Drive, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the Katherine Luther Home. She was born in Queens, NY on November 21, 1931, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Hutzler Anderson. She resided in New York City for many years and moved to Clinton with her family in 1988. She retired from Bank of New York after many years of service. Joan was a member of St. Marys Church, Clinton, the St. Marys Prayer Line and St. Elizabeths Womens Guild. Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Robert W. and Maureen T. Anderson of Manchester, NJ; a niece and two nephews, Trish Dalton Anderson of London, England, Robert J. Anderson of North Carolina, Paul M. Anderson of Rhode Island and their families; and her special friend, Jane Clanton of Clinton. She was predeceased by her parents, her step-father, John DiMieri and her sister, Nancy G. Anderson. Funeral services will be held at 9am on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton and 9:30am at St. Marys Church, Marvin St., Clinton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Clinton.
