MORRIS, Jessie Elizabeth (nee MCKillop) - After a wonderful life, in her 96th year, Jessie passed away peacefully, on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Her last day was spent in the care of her family, best friends Hazel and Doreen and the excellent caregivers at Sunrise of Mississauga. Jessie was truly adored by her husband, James Kitchener Morris, for 60 years and she never got over losing him in 1997. Beloved mother of Douglas James (Mary Lou) and James Bruce (Diana) and cherished grandchildren James (Colleen) and Shelley and 2 special great- grandchildren Kate (5) and Brooke (3). The family wishes to thank the staff at Sunrise Mississauga for the amazing care that was given to Jessie and their sense of humour along with their fabulous loving attention. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army.
