Jesse James Smith, 59, of Bogart, died February 27, 2011. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Athens, with interment at East Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include wife, Linda Smith; children, Anthony J. and Clifton B. Smith, and Angela L. Greer; siblings, Ervin, Jr., Robert, Jr., Jackie, Parnell, Patricia, and Cynthia Smith, Bertha Evans, and Videtta Rhodes; and three grandchildren. Mack & Payne Funeral Home, Athens, has charge of arrangements.
