GREENSBORO Jerry Anthony Jackson, age 69, of Greensboro, died March 7, 2012, at home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery with Revs. Arthur Thomas and Wade McCrory officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Friday night from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Dianne Jackson.Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Harris Jackson of Greensboro; daughters, Pam Ray Duncan (Kerry) of Greensboro, Treasa Lynn O'Brien (Joe) of Maryland, and Sandra Kay Jackson of Mobile; son, Wesley Shane Jackson of California; brother, Lonnie Lester Jackson Jr. (Betty) of Florida; grandchildren, Shane Stricklin, Haley Farris, Kaisea O'Brien, Malarie O'Brien, Kaylynn Duncan, Ashton O'Brien, Grace Katherine Duncan, Natalie Jackson, and Elyse Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, John Carter Stricklin and Jaxson Stricklin.Mr. Jackson was born April 10, 1942, in Jefferson County to the late Lonnie Lester and Gladys Theresa Bickerstaff Jackson.Pallbearers will be John Thomas, Darryl Mitchell, Bubba Ramey, Vernon Crawford, Bob Hamilton, Fred Jones, Shane Stricklin, Wesley Jackson, and Reginald Hoggle.
