DAVIS, JENNIE V.Jennie V. Davis, 85, died Friday July 6, 2007, at University Place Care Center. A Native of Jasper, FL. she moved to Gainesville fifty years ago. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church where she served in the choir, and was a member of the Gospel crusaders. Survivors include One sister Berneice Gunsby, Jennings, FL. Two brothers Izell McCloud, Jennings, FL. Charles Wells, Bellville, FL. One grandson, Jeffrey, One granddaughter Siedah and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Davis will be held on Friday, at 1:00 PM July 13, 2007 at Springhill Baptist Church with Adrian Taylor Pastor Burial will follow in Forest Meadows East Memorial Park under the care of CHESTNUT FUNERAL HOME 18 N.W. 8th Ave. Gainesville, FL. Visitation Thursday 2:00 - 8:00 PM Chestnut Chapel and on Friday in the Springhill Baptist Church from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. The cortege will form at the home of Mrs. Davis 815 S.E. 12th Avenue Gainesville, Florida at 12:15 PM.
