Jeanne J. Davis, 94, died May 27, 2009, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach. She was born in Nelson, Neb., and lived 19 years in Indian River Estates in Vero Beach, coming from Zanesville, Ohio. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Zanesville and St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, Vero Beach. She was a Welcome Wagon hostess in Zanesville and a member of the Zanesville Country Club. Survivors include her daughter, Jana L. Pontesso of Aurora, Colo.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Walter Davis; and daughter, Diana J. Sinclair. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
