ABELL, JEAN MARIE ABBOTT, 68, of Jacksonville, FL, peacefully went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on December 18, 2004 after a three-year battle with recurrent breast cancer. She was born on March 26, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of the late Theron Whitley Abbott and Isabelle May Leary Abbott. She was a former resident of Deltona and was retired from the Florida Eye Clinic in Altamonte Springs, FL. She is survived by three daughters, Kristin Emily Friend (husband Gregg), Bryn Jean Howald (husband Brad), both of Jacksonville, FL, and Mardi Marie Wilkerson (husband Kelly) of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Alyssa Renae Howald, Stephanie Jean Howald, Jonathan Wesley Howald, Matthew Bradley Howald, Timothy Cameron Howald, all of Jacksonville, Florida and Sydney Marie Wilkerson, Jessica Mae Wilkerson, and Reagan Michelle Wilkerson, all of Huntsville, AL. She was loved by all who knew her. Interment was December 20, 2004 at Mandarin Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL. A memorial service was held on December 21, 2004 at Christian Family Chapel in Jacksonville, FL. A local memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 2PM at Northland Chapel Annex, 2610 South Highway 17-92, Casselberry.
