Obituary of Jean-M. Williams


ALBANY Jean M. Williams, 80, of Albany, died Tuesday, December 31, 2002 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Williams was born in Albany on January 4, 1922, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Cioffi Patricelli. A lifelong Albany resident, she had worked at the Senior Services of Albany day program on Delaware Avenue for 12 years. She had previously been employed at Two Guys Department Store, Menands for 10 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Williams; a son, Frank; a daughter, Carol Marie; and two brothers, James and Fred Patricelli. She is survived by two sons, Eugene Wood and Richard Wood of Rensselaer; three sisters, Mary Fraley of Voorheesville, Celia Olszewski of Albany and Madeline Patricelli of Albany; one brother, Dominick Patricelli of Albany; a special friend, Randy Redington of Albany; four grandchildren, Brittany Wood of East Greenbush, Stephanie Wood of Jupiter, Fla. and Matthew and Allison Wood of Saratoga; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Zwack & Sons, 633 Central Ave., Albany. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may send a remembrance in her name to Senior Services of Albany, 25 Delaware Ave., Albany 12210.
