Jean M. Davis, 61, Osprey, died July 12, 2006. She was born May 8, 1945, in St. Albans, Vt., and came to Osprey 16 years ago from Carmel, N.Y. She was an orthodontic clinical coordinator and a member of the Church of the Palms. Survivors include her fiancee, Thomas Mickett of Osprey; a daughter, Stacy D. Smit of Chantilly, Va.; a son, Scott D. Davis of Sarasota; and a sister, Ann Hazard of DeLand. A memorial and celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Village Walk Town Center, 8109 Camminare Drive, Sarasota. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Gulf Gate Chapel, is in charge.
