Jean Johnson-Smith, age 58, of Athens, died on Friday, June 7, 2013.Survivors include her husband, Hoke Smith; daughters, Eleasa and Briggess Smith; son, Patrouski Johnson; five sisters, seven brothers, six grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at New Freedom Christian Center, in Athens, with interment in the New Grove Baptist Church cemetery, in Winterville.Gardenview Funeral Chapel, Athens, is in charge of the arrangements.
