-> Vidalia - Mrs. Jean Burch Watson, age 76 of 1210 Rhodus Dr., died Friday, August 6, 2004 at the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County, and retired from the Selective Service. She was preceded in death by a husband, Cal Burch in 1981. Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband, Robert Watson of Vidalia; one daughter, Gloria Murphy of Vidalia; one son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Shirley Burch of Warner Robins; seven grandchildren, Eddie Hester and his wife, Carol of Lyons, Richard Grimes and Pam Bell and her husband, Trey all of Vidalia, Richie Burch of Warner Robins, Tabitha Berry and her husband, Everette of Dallas, Texas, Lance Watson and his wife, Charlotte and Wendy Enlow all of Fort Valley; eight great -grandchildren and two nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Jean Burch Watson was held Sunday, August 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Don Moye officiating. Interment followed in Pinecrest Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy McBride, Lewis Spratlin, Lance Watson, Calvin Wilson, Buddy Coleman and Johnny Ward.
