Janice Karen Fosterof Concord, N.C.formerly of BinghamtonMrs. Janice Karen Foster finished her second courageous battle with Breast Cancer Saturday morning at her residence and is now at rest with the Lord. Janice was born in Binghamton, N.Y., on September 23, 1946, a daughter of the late John and Francesca Miller Dick. She was owner and operator of Lunchtime Anytime Catering, and was a volunteer for Wings of Eagles and NorthEast Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lorrine Annese. Survivors include her husband, Dennis L. Foster, whom she married on December 28, 1985; three daughters, Kimberly Roscoe and husband, Richard, Binghamton, N.Y., Cheri Malkasian and husband, Mark, Worcester, Mass., and Laurie Miosky, Oneonta, N.Y.; brothers, John Richards, Binghamton, N.Y., and Thomas Richards, Rochester, N.Y.; sister, Margaret Smolchnop, Binghamton, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Lindsay, Brittany, Niclotte, Alacia and Jacob; stepson and daughter, Brandon and Alicia Foster; and grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan Foster, Utica, N.Y.Memorial Service will be held in honor of Janice at St. Mary Assumption Church, at the corner of Fayette and Court St., Binghamton, N.Y. at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2007. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of the life of Janice at Little Venice Restaurant following the memorial service.
