MILLER, JANET "JOY" MARIE BROWN DUNN, was born May 12, 1933 in Louisville, KY, and died Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Louisville. Mrs. Miller was a retired registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wayne Miller; her parents, Joseph McDonugh Brown Sr. and Lura Rita Horsely Brown; and one brother, Joseph McDonough Brown Jr. Survivors include two sons and one daughter, Joseph Benjamin Dunn and his wife, Rhonda, of Greensburg, KY, Russell Kevin Dunn and his wife, Melissa, of Campbellsville, KY, and Beth Dunn Corbett and her husband, Kelly, of Bardstown, KY. Four granddaughters also survive: Laura Dunn Hedgespeth and her husband, Keith, and Kristina Dunn. both of Campbellsville, and Jessica and Jamie Dunn of Greensburg. She was a member and past president of the Rod Lowe Post 124, American Legion Auxiliary and a member and past president of the Kentucky Association of Nurse Anesthetists (KANA) and was honored as the Greensburg / Green County Business and Professional Woman of the Year. Her passions included the friendships and involvement in her church, love of animals, Genealogy, travel and the fun, fellowship and companionship of friends in the Red Hat Society. The funeral mass celebrating and honoring her life will be at 2 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Greensburg. The Rev. Kevin Bryan will be the chief celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Brigid Catholic Church Cemetery, Vine Grove, KY. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Monday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY, with vigil services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church or JTC Hospital Auxiliary, both in Greensburg. These can be made at the Foster- Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
