She was born and raised in Montevideo, MN, and lived most of her life in Lake Zurich, IL. Jane and her husband, Harold, retired to Altamonte Springs, FL and she lived most recently in Rockford, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband and sisters, Bernice Larson and Delores Zieg. Jane is survived by her sons, Gary L. Flanagan of Mundelein, IL, and Edward A. Flanagan of Groton, CT; daughter, Barbara Flanagan Fuller of Missouri City, TX; brother, Donald Nelson of Granite Falls, MN; four grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends. Jane was entombed at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, TX, in a private service on Friday, Feb. 21. A Memorial service and Celebration of her life will be held in the spring for family and friends at St. Mark Lutheran Church, in Rockford, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Jane's memory be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 675 N. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61107.
