James Franklin White, 90, widower of Mildred Moffitt White, died Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. He was a resident of Covenant Place.Surviving are two sons, James F. White Jr. and wife Lois of San Francisco, Calif., and Robert M. White and wife Jeanne of Greenville; a daughter, Virginia Snipes and husband Doug of Greenville; two sisters, Elizabeth Davis and Mary Evelyn McDonald, both of Tennessee; five grandchildren, Robert M. White Jr., Leigh White Williams, Amy Michelle White, Sarah Elizabeth White and James Nathan Copenhaver; two great-grandchildren, Alexandra Mackenzie White and Tyler Jacob White.Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
