James P. Todd, 77, of Hobe Sound, died Oct. 13, 2006, at Martin Nursing & Restorative Care Center in Stuart. He was born in Hoboken, N.J., and moved to Jupiter in 1984, coming from New York State, and Hobe Sound in 1994. Before retirement, he worked for Joseph T. Ryerson Steel Co. for 35 years as a manager in the engineering department. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound.Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Maureen Todd of Hobe Sound; sons, Michael Roger Todd of Hobe Sound, and John Patrick Todd of Yardville, N.J.; a daughter, Diane Marie Wade of Rockaway, N.J.; a sister, Ruth Todd Dessingue; and seven grandchildren. SERVICES: Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at Young & Prill Funeral Home in Stuart. A prayer service will be at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the funeral home.
