Master Sergeant James "Ed" Morris retired from the TN National Guard, June 5, 1997; died at Skyline Medical Center Wednesday morning. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean Kelly Morris; brother, Bobby (Louise) Morris of Hendersonville; 2 nieces, Cheryl (Joe) Mehaffey, Lisa King; 1 great nephew, Logan Rooker and 3 great nieces, Jami Peveler, Alexandra and Sydney King. Funeral service conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, 12 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 with Rev. Todd Kelly and Bro. Delwyn Fryer officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery.
