Mr. James Montgomery of Nanuet, NY died at Nyack Hospital on Monday, November 8, 2004. He was 64 years old. Mr. Montgomery owned and operated a construction business until his retirement in 1998. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting. He is survived by his beloved companion of numerous years, Annie Lois Wood. One last surviving aunt Alphitine Gamble of Jacksonville, FL; three daughters Elizabeth Montgomery of Spring Valley, NY, Amanda Montgomery of Yonkers, NY and Adriane Gibson of Garnerville, NY; four sons James Montgomery, Jr. and his wife Diana of Suffern, NY, Vincent Wood of Brooklyn, NY, Kerry Wood and his wife Caroline of Bridgeport, CT and Darrell Clark of Charlotte, NC; four brothers Louis Montgomery and Daniel Montgomery of Nyack, NY, Robert Montgomery of Haverstraw and Alex Montgomery of Kingstree, SC; three sisters Redis Scott and her husband James of Kingstree, SC, Catherine Motgomery of Spring Valley, NY and Mattie McCann and her husband Ralph of Lathan, NY. As well as 20 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Viewing will be held on Friday, November 12, 2004 from 9 - 11 am at St. John Deliverance Tabernacle, 35 Piermont Avenue, Nyack, NY. A homegoing service will immediately follow at 11 am at the church.
