James Michael Goodwin James Michael Goodwin, 48, the vice president and general manager of Goodwin Roofing Co., died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Lysa Goodwin. The service will be at 1 p.m. EST Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park.Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EST today at Beggs Funeral Home Apalachee Parkway Chapel (942-2929). A native of Panama City, he had resided in Tallahassee since 1967. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and was the assistant chief of the Chaires-Capitoa Volunteer Fire Department and a had been volunteering for the past 10 years.Other survivors include two daughters, Shawna Goodwin and Lindsey Goodwin, both of Tallahassee; his father and mother, James and Barbara Goodwin of Havana; a brother, John Goodwin of Havana; and a sister, Lee Ann McCray of Raleigh, N.C.
