MCKENZIE-On Monday, February 13, 2006 James Ian McKenzie of Regina, SK passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife, Anne; one sister, Jessie and two brothers: Ronald and Rodrick; as well as his parents. Jim was born on his father's homestead near Aneroid on December 6, 1921 and was educated at Quimper Rural School. He served in World War II. He is survived by his children: Joan (Ron) Pacholko, Dennis (Elaine) McKenzie and Darlene (Dave) Wurm; grandchildren: Jason, Jarrod, Carlin, Alicia (Kent), Jonathan, Stephen (Michelle), Alison (Michael), Melanie (Jeff) and Stephanie; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Joshua, Paul and Sarah; sisters: Mary and Margaret; brothers: William and Norman; numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, February 17, 2006 in Holy Child Parish, 2636 7th Avenue E., Regina, SK. A private family interment will be held at Riverside Memorial Park.
