EDWARDS, James L.James L. Edwards, age 97, of Lantana, Florida, died April 26, 2014. He was born January 25, 1917 in Irwin, Pennsylvania, a son of the late J. Langford and Lillie Ferguson Edwards. A chemical engineer, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and retired from National Starch and Chemical Corporation/Unilever. He was an active member of Rotary International with 100% attendance, past President of the Dunellen, New Jersey Rotary Club, and a Paul Harris Fellow. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Edwards of Murrysville, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Helen Vincz Edwards; two daughters, Judith E. Montesi and husband Steve of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Susan J. Edwards and husband John Martin of Rindge, New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Christian and Elizabeth; and two great-grandchildren, Madeline Elizabeth and Grace Helen.
