Oxford - Graveside services for James Kenneth "Cotton Top" Davis, 65, of Oxford, Alabama, will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Forestlawn Gardens. Dr. Rick Reaves will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 tonight at Miller Funeral Home. Mr. Davis died on Sunday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Pat Davis; sons, Tony Davis Sr., Tim Davis (Penny), Tony Davis Jr.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Davis was life long resident of Oxford, Alabama. He was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Davis was the owners of Personal Touch Hair Salon for 25 years. He was retired on disability from B.R. Williams Trucking. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by sister, Brenda Joyce Cox; son, Jeffery Scott Davis and his parents, James Madison and Ruth Ellen Davis.
