Obituary of James-G. Lee


LEE, JAMES G., age 79, of Sanford, peacefully passed away at his home Thursday, March 18, 2004. He was born June 11, 1924 to the late James and Vallie Lee in Moore County, North Carolina. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. He was a graduate of Seminole High School, Stetson University and Rollins College. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a military policeman. He was a Supervisor of Seminole County's probation and parole officers for 30 years, retiring in January 1988. Survivors include his wife of almost 58 years, Luticia G. Lee; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Dennis Dingle of Gainesville, FL, and Linda and Douglas Maliczowski of Sanford, FL; son James G. Lee, Jr., of Fort Lauderdale, FL; granddaughter Lee Dotson (husband Tim); grandsons James Dingle (wife Amie) and Joshua Maliczowski; and great-grandchildren Kory and Shelby Dotson. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 21, 2004 at 2PM at the First United Methodist Church on Park Avenue, Sanford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs or to the First United Methodist Church, Sanford. Arrangements are by Brisson Funeral Home, 905 Laurel Avenue, Sanford, FL. 407-322-2131.
