MORRIS James F. Morris, 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep, into the arms of his Lord Jesus Christ, on July 1, 2007. He suffered a lengthy illness with kidney disease. Born in Toombs County, GA, he was a longtime resident of Jacksonville and retired from the Lakewood Shell Service station as a mechanic. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mary; sons, James D. Morris, Donald T. Morris, and William F. Morris (Cynthia); granddaughter, Lilly Morris; brothers, Huey L. Morris and Michael Morris; and other extended family in S. Georgia and Central Florida. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5th, in the chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS CHAPEL HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd.
