MONTGOMERY, Mr. James Edward, age 71, a decorated Korean war veteran formerly of Turkey Creek, LA, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2005. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jo Crisco, of New Hope Metropolitan Community Church officiating at Southern Me-morial Funeral Home and Cremato-rium in Montgomery, AL. Burial serv-ices will be held in Turkey Creek, LA at a later date, where he will be laid to rest next to his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara Ellen Montgom-ery (Slater). His parents, James Montgomery and Essie Mae Mont-gomery (Bridges), his brother, Leo, and sisters Mary Jo, Pat, preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, a daughter, Janet M. Wall-ace of Montgomery, AL; two sons, Mark E. Probst of Georgia, and Mike A. Probst of KY; a grand-daughter, Brittney; five grandsons, Gabriel, Johnathan, Mike, Mark, Brandon; one great grandson, Ca-leb; a brother, Bobby J. Montgom-ery of Texas; an aunt, Juanita Ley-ba of NM; various cousins, includ-ing, Jeff Bridges and Beau Bridges; nieces and nephews, numerous friends and various other family members in LA. Special thanks to Teresa A.
