->SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Irenée J. Theriault, formerly of Waterville, Maine, passed away on May 5, 2009, in Sacramento, at the age of 93.He was the son of the late Joseph I. and Lucie Dora Theriault.He is survived by three daughters: Elizabeth and her husband, Edward Burgess, and their son Brandon of Carmichael; Catherine Ricard and son Joshua of Filer, Idaho; and Victoria Elliott and children Cody and Meghan of Filer; one son, James, of California; brothers Raymond and his wife, Shirley, of Citrus Heights, Wilfred T. Theriault of Augusta, Maine, and John Paul and his wife, Celeste, of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; sisters Grace Huard of Waterville, Rita Hikel and her husband, Adam, of Vassalboro, Maine, Jeffrine M. Quirion of Winslow, Maine; also several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by sisters, Madeline Grivois Byrd, Marie Cash and Theresa A. White, and brother Leonard J. Theriault.He served in the Air Force for 26 years, including World War II, Korea and Vietnam.He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Committal prayers and burial will be at the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery, Waterville, at 11:30 a.m. May 29.
