McDONALD _ Ian Weir Passed away peacefully February 8, 2007 in his 85th year. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mary and by his daughter and by his sister Mary Frances. Ian was predeceased by his only son John and by his brother Bob. Ian will be remembered with love by his sister-in-law Mollie and by his brother-in-law Bill and wife Norma. Ian is survived by many caring nieces and nephews. Throughout his life he maintained close ties with family in Scotland. Ian served overseas with the R.C.A.F. Upon his return he completed his degree at UBC. He then followed his father's footsteps into the lumber business where he made lasting friendships. There will be a private service. Friends of the family are invited to a reception at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club on February 22, 2007 from 3-6pm.
