MACDONALD, Ian Ian passed away peacefully on January 2, 2014 at the age of 62. Predeceased by his parents, Sheldon Duncan MacDonald and Ruth Rayson MacDonald, he is survived by a cousin, Mary Primeau (Montreal), Marlyn McGee (Ste. Anne des Lacs) and Christine Patton (Calgary, Alberta), as well as many other relatives and extended family. He also leaves behind numerous friends many of whom were like a family to him. We wish to extend heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Caroline Savard who was Ian's close friend throughout the years and who visited him often during his hospitalization. Most especially she was with him during his final days and hours, offering him kindness, support and comfort. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clarke McGillivray & White, 5610 Sherbrooke St. W. (514-483-1870). Visitation and a memorial service will be held at the funeral parlour on Wednesday, January 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the spring in Grenville, Quebec on a date yet to be determined.
