GUNTER, HENRY LEE age 82, of Adger, AL, passed away June 15, 2011. He was a member of Oak Grove First Baptist Church for over 50 years. He retired from Koppers and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #617 in Oak Grove. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Nell Gilbert Gunter. He is survived by his wife, Lois Hudson Gunter and family, his son, Charles Nelson Gunter of Adger, his grandchildren, Karen Gunter, and Mark (Cam) Gunter, his great grandchildren, Kayce Jordan, Payton and Ashton Gunter, his brothers, Charles Gunter of McCalla and Jimmy (Margaret) Gunter of Bessemer, several nieces, nephews and extended loving family. Funeral services will be held at Oak Grove First Baptist Church Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Bro. Charles Anglen and Scott Nichols will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. >
