Obituary of Henry-Bunyan Henderson


Mr. Henry Bunyan Henderson, age 83, of Buford, Ga., passed away Friday, July 19, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Weathers Henderson, Buford, Ga.; children, Renee Notti, Buford, Ga., Rebecca and Marvin Morgan, Gainesville, Ga., and Roland and Ann Henderson, Pendergrass, Ga.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Duran, Flowery Branch, Ga., and Geraldine and Joe Reed, Holland, Mich.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Henderson was born Dec. 18, 1929, in Flowery Branch, Ga. He was a 1950 graduate of Oakwood High School and was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force and Marine Corp. He was a retired paint contractor known a "H.B." He was a member and a deacon of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Auburn, Ga. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Sammy Everett and the Rev Chris Parkin officiating. Interment and graveside service will follow at Mount Moriah Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Lee Sass officiating.
