Obituary of Helen-T. Henderson


HENDERSON Helen T. Henderson, 82, passed away December 16, 2003. She moved to Jacksonville three years ago from Hornell, New York. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Tobin and Ethel Sherwood Tobin; a brother, Ed Tobin; her husband, John G. Henderson; and a son, John P. Henderson. Survivors include her son, Francis Henderson and his wife, Patricia; two brothers, John Tobin of Hornell, NY and Jerry Tobin of Apopka, FL; a sister, Mary Margaret Vet of Jamestown, NY; five grandchildren, John, Todd, David, Sharon, and Graham; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 20th, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Michael Larkin officiating. A vigil service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, December 19th, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue. The family will receive friends until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
