Wilson, Helen S. Jun. 17, 1923 - Oct. 10, 2014 Helen S. Wilson, 91, life long resident of Venice, FL passed away Friday, October 10, 2014. Helen was born June 17, 1923 in Tampa, FL the daughter of the late Walter and Mabel (Mansfield) Surls. Helen is survived by daughters, Debra Burton of Venice and Sharon Hazeltine (David) of Nokomis; daughter in law, Mary Lynn Hill of Venice, FL, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by two sons, George and John T. Hill. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother; she was the only girl in her graduating class of Venice-Nokomis High School in 1941 as well as 'Tarpon Queen' of the same year. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice. There are no services scheduled at this time. Toale Brothers Ewing Chapel in charge of arrangements.
