HENDERSON, HELEN L. "AUNT LOU" MURPHY, 86, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009. She was a member of 28th Street Baptist Church for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Henderson; seven sisters, two brothers; and one son, Edward Lawrence Murphy. Survivors include: children, Brenda Griffith, Karen, Stanley, Steven (Angela) and Scott (Donna) Henderson; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her church family. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 7, 2009 10-11:45 a.m. prior to the service at noon at 28th St. Baptist Church, 418 So. 28th St., with burial in Louisville Cemetery. A.D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St. in charge of arrangements.
