DALE, Helen Janet Born in England, July 5, 1909. Died peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville, on March 3, 2005; Helen Janet (Merry) Dale, formerly of Ottawa, at age 95 years. Wife of the Late John Edward Dale. Dear mother of Allan Johnson of Brockville and Shirley Powers and her husband Taylor of Ottawa. Grandmother of Linda, Stephen, Rick and Bernie (Pierrette). Great-grandmother of Sarah, Shane, Owen, Morgan and Alyson. Predeceased by an infant son Peter and a daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Betty) Johnson. A private family service was held at Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland, on Friday, March 4th. Family and friends are invited to gather in the Botanical Gardens of Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa for a graveside service on Wednesday, March 9th at 2 o'clock. A reception will follow in the Beechwood Reception Centre. In remembrance, donations in lieu of flowers to the charity of one's choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
