Mrs. Ferguson was a graduate of Parker High School, Class of 1952. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Furman University Class of 1956 and retired from Greenville County School District after 31 years of service. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Greer, SC.Surviving are her loving husband of 54 years, David Ferguson, of the home and daughter, Jill Ferguson, of Suwanee, GA.The funeral service will be held Monday, December 1, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park, with burial to follow.Memorials may be made to Dunean Baptist Church, 21 Allen St., Greenville, SC 29605 or to the Greenville County Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd., Greenville, SC 29607.
